It’s been a banner year for the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. The beloved minivan was awarded Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Additionally, the Chrysler Pacifica was featured with Google’s new self-driving automated software. And 2016 isn’t even over yet.

At the beginning of this month, Motor Trend named the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica as a finalist for its Car of the Year award. Guest judge Chris Theodore considers this the best Chrysler minivan since the 1996 model, which received the Motor Trend Car of the Year award two decades ago. “If you didn’t know you were in a minivan and opened your eyes for the first time,” Theodore commented, “you’d swear you were in a luxury SUV.”

From its improved nine-speed transmission to its impressive drive performance, the latest Chrysler minivan wowed judges and drivers alike. Motor Trend’s editor-in-chief Ed Loh called the steering wheel of the Chrysler Pacifica “a joy to hold.” Features such as the vehicle’s modern look, hidden sliding door tracks, and stylish interior design touches made this minivan stand out from the crowd.

For the family on-the-go, the Chrysler Pacifica offers ease and functionality, which technical director Frank Markus stated is a minivan’s “sole raison d’être.” With Stow ‘n Go seats, a built-in vacuum cleaner, and independent rear suspension (a first for the minivan), the Pacifica is a dream car for busy parents and their children.

Families in the El Paso area interested in experiencing the Chrysler minivan described as “class-leading” are invited to visit Sunland Park Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM car dealership near Alamogordo, NM for a test drive. We look forward to putting you behind the wheel of a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica soon!
